Do you have to pay extra for Traction control/ABS on the 2011 model?
On the 2010 model Traction control/ABS came standard.
I do not have lockers and have not driven a Puma with lockers. Somebody on here will have the answer.

Funny, I thought it was standard too, but the dealer said "no, it is an option". After having a look on the Land Rover site it seems this is the case.
I have finally, after annoying lots of dealers, found a very low km used 2010 110. Pick it up this weekend... can't wait :) I have to admit, I will be sad to part with the 90, definitely the most fun, capable and unique car I have owned.
Thanks everyone for your help!
Hi Alex,
I'm contemplating either a 2011 or 2012 Defender 110 and thought that traction control / ABS was standard. It is listed as a standard feature on the Land Rover site under both Driving and Transmission and also under Safety and Security. Where did you find that it was an option?
cheers
Matt
Mmmmmm, can't find it now. I think it might have been in one of the brochures where it said "on some models" however all the 110s show it as standard. Maybe it was referring to the cab-chassis?
I am trying to work out why the salesperson would have told me that now. I had asked him specifically about it and told him it was important to me. He said "That's strange, most people don't want it." He was trying to sell me a "2012" model that he was waiting to arrive the next week.
BTW: TC is something I found to be really useful in my current td5 90. Feels counter-intuitive to actually use a bit more throttle when you start to loose grip, but it definitely works.
I am really curious now, anyone else know why/if TC is not standard on a 2012 model?
Probably you need to be mindful of global marketing material and that the Australian market sometimes only gets 1 spec level and very few options (or only ones that dealers can easily fit). Jeep Australia were (are) exactly like this compared to the seemingly endless US options list.
Depending on what else the dealer sells and in what volumes, it's easy to know more than the dealer. Or maybe it's a Jeep thing ;)
Looking forward to pics.
Cheers
