If you have packed the bearings properly in grease, then there is no need to worry about them in the short term, later models have grease packed bearings from the factory.
If you want a second opinion, you can bring it over,I am home during the day this week as I am working nights, and sleep is over rated:eek:

check the motion of the brake pads SWMBO's disco was making the same noises and it turned out (the first time) to be one of the caliper pistons was not retracting correctly.

Think the squeal is the brakes. I've got enough new spare bearings to do the whole front end again plenty of diff oil...so it'll be peachy or side of road repairs time!
Thanks all for your advice

Brake squeal will usually go away if you lightly brake while still driving.
My RRC has rear pad squeal as I have a set of Disco pads in at the moment so I had to leave the spring which separates the pads out. Light brake application makes the noise go away.
