Where's the Defender wave gone?

A couple of non returned waves in the past few days but all was forgiven last evening with an out the window full arm wave and a huge smile from a Perentie FFR in Richmond

Was driving down at the Spit yesterday on the Gold Coast and a D4 owner almost tripped coming out to the front of his 4WD to give me a big thumbs up, so I responded in kind. First D4 owner I've gotten a wave/thumbs up from so that made my day :)

Driving on Telegraph Road on the weekend in my 130, and was behind an orange 110 (with a scorpion decal on the back). Had L-Plates and was being driven by a young lady. Pulled up beside her at the lights, gave her a wave and she waved back. So looks like she's nailed that part of Defender driving !

Waved to a white Puma 110 wagon waiting to get on the the barge to Straddie this morning.

Yes since it became cool to own a New Defender and a whole heap of people bought them, they drive around with there noses in the air[bigsad]. A few wave but not many. Still get the wave from the older Series, Defenders, Counties, TDI and TD5. [bigsmile1]

sad but true, I've even had people look at my funny when I'm hanging out the window waving at them. Clearly don't understand their ownership obligations!
