I generally give a wave, the missus and kids think its amusing. I've also been guilty of a non-return in defence either not seeing the other truck and/or my eyes aren't what they used to be if I'm focusing on driving. Also its bit awkward around town sometimes with the flash murraries maybe up themselves probably noone on here. The wave's a good thing to keep going its much more reliable out in the country maybe people are more relaxed there
50/50 return so far this weekend. Big wave and smile from a White HCPU on Terrace Rd, North Richmond and completely ignored by an older red 110 with a white roof two spares on the rear on Kurrajong Rd Richmond.
2 more enthusiastic waves this afternoon as we drove in our black shorty. First from a reddish/moroon 110 with a white roof driven by a gray-haired gentleman in Richmond who couldn’t get his arm out the window fast enough to wave. Secondly from a black Puma 110 just past the Windsor bridge..
Well - you lot have been moaning about Puma drivers not waving - and as you took off at the lights I was worried you would miss my wave - I own the Montalcino Red 110 with a white roof [bigsmile]Quote:

Hey Col110, you pass the ‘navigator’ in the same black shorty around 6:15 most mornings (expect Mondays and Tuesday) at the lights at Northo. She mentioned shes seen you waving from a non Defender the other day...

I've owned a Defender a week now, been dying for my first wave! Saw Defenders all the time before I bought my 110, but damned if I've seen one since.
I'm inner north suburbs, Brunswick, I'm keeping an eye out, I'll bloody wave!
Hey Stinkler - I can go weeks without seeing another Defender - so as T-Rover saw today I can get a bit excited with my wave [biggrin]
We used to see you a lot Col110, last time in a Defender was at Richmond market car park over a year ago.. you were parked behind our shorty.Quote:

I broke my ankle in April - did a really good job breaking both bones and dislocating the ankle - I now have a multitude of screws and a plate - it took me about six months before I could drive - so it is good to be back out driving around!Quote:
