The Tanami is hardly new if anything, it draws attention because it's different. I have even had interest from Toyota drivers.

Smile WA keeps up the wave

I`ve been doing the wave for many many years, in a 110 now appears that 99% of WA defender and series drivers love the wave to, myself and my kids think its great fun always ready for the wave its a very special club and we are proud to be in it

Two waves, right off the boat!

While waiting to board the Spirit of Tasmania today at Devonport we got some really enthusiastic waves from a green Puma 90 and a Silver 110. As they disembarked.
    Made our day:

My thoughts exactly, none of this bull**** about - "I'll only wave if the rig fits a certain criteria" if somebody has bought and is driving a defender, it's not for the comfort or refinement, it's for a purpose and for all the charm, charisma and idiosyncrasies that come with it.

So in saying that I'll wave at EVERY defender I see and anyone else that's driving something from the green oval brigade

Well I was blown away, I got a wave from a Range Rover on the Brisbane valley highway. I drove a disco 2 for 10 years and never got a single wave from anyone in that time. I love being in a defender again.

Cook and I got ignored again yesterday, this time it was a new white Puma 90 parked right next to us at Burns Beach!
I'd spotted them pulling in and gave a wave, his Mrs saw me do that but turned her head away.
Maybe she didn't like the look of me.....
