Yeah, the dealers should get onto this and tell new buyers what is expected of them. I got a totally puzzled look in response to my wave
:)
Over the last few days of travelling up the coast, I was becoming hesitant as the waves are few and far between, but after reading this post well, I'm not driving this thing for the fun of it. I'm an enthusiast, who loves spending money on seemingly endless problems, that my dearly beloved points out every time we go away.
What was it is she said this trip,"it's just one thing after another with Uncle Buck, isn't it" ? I said nothing………..
I have never received a return wave and I wave or at least nod to EVERY Land Rover I see.
Waved to three Deefers with mainland plates last week and they just looked at me as if I had 2 heads. We'll we are in Tassie, lol. No wave back. Mmmmm what does that say?
Drove from Bridport, northern Tas. back to Hobart.
Four Defenders, four waves given and four waves back, some with smiles.
Four out of four is as good as the Aussie cricket team.
Cheers, Peter.
Was out in Barrington Tops over the past few days, saw a few Defenders- 4 actually. It was funny, I think there was almost every incarnation of Defender on the same track:
1 300tdi HCPU ute (me)
1 300tdi 2 door tin top
1 300tdi wagon
1 200tdi wagon
1 Perentie
1 130 dual cab tray back
1 Puma wagon
Beat that! They all waved ofcourse, pretty sure a couple were AULRO members. Two from QLD? The perentie and the 130 dual cab?
