Picked up the new silver 90 in Coffs Harbour on Saturday morning.
On the first drive got a wave from a nice grey 110 Puma. Copped a wave from an old blue county on Sunday morning, and another one from a white 90 Puma on Sunday arvo. Gold.
Down at Narre Warren tonight, had a wave from a little 90 :D
Had my window, as per normal, ;) so he got a big wave from me
Spotted in the carpark at Fountain Gate,, home of course to Cath and Kim,, and our good selves :D , a really good looking well kitted D3/D4. Had a Vic LR sticker on it,, was mighty tempted to change spots and park next to them ;)
Two notable waves in Brisbane yesterday.
The first near Spring Hill as a guy approach his blue 110 TD5, he must have been 10m away from his Landy as we exchanged a wave.
The second was a rare nighttime wave. This time in Bardon. I could just make out a raised and open hand behind the windscreen of the 110 Puma as we passed. I hope they were also able to see my wave.
Cheers
John
Last night I was driving alongside another puma 90 on the Bruce heading north, I got a slightly amused return wave from what looked like a SWMBO driving it =D
Just finished a month long trip from Melbourne up to the Simpson and back again. 100% success rate once i was out of the cities for waves.
Including a guy in a 110 County on the Old Strzelecki Track who was wearing some very big Ear Muffs. I didn't know the car was that noisy. Though i do have my radio up quite high.
Sydney to Jindabyne and back and a week at the snow with 100% success during daylight hours - probably 12 or so waves in total.
Also managed to park within 3 spots of on the first day, and then right next to the same Defender 3 days running in the Perisher car park - needless to say waves were exchanged every day
Only owned the Landy for 10 days passed about 5 so far got waves from them all :BigThumb:
SUCCESS :D Going to work in "zara" and a nice wave :) Coming home from the shops in Big Red, he was behind me and I waved when I turned into our street, I didn't see him wave, he could have though. Out and about in Big Red and a nice big wave when he spotted me, he probably doesn't realise that I drive different Landys, he must live close as he drives the same road as me often. Are you on here???
Mrs hh:angel:
I would like to thank the driver of the white 130 who returned my wave from across four lanes of traffic and a traffic island on the Ipswich motorway this afternoon prompting much eye rolling and disbelief by my 19 year old son.
