Much easier if you make it a style side 110 like Yorkshire Jon's see: Defender Double Cab Canopy - where to buy?

At the risk of asking a stupid question, whats a style side 110?

Mine is a factory standard 110 Double Cab? OK, its maybe no longer factory standard but the shape / canvas back is as it left the factory.

Getting back to the question of is it possible. YES.

Its actually not difficult, you just need to find some donor parts, unbolt your panels and re-bolt. finding the parts over here may be the hardest part about it. Mine aren't going spare either!!

Last time I looked at doing this for a customer (in the UK) the roof was the expensive bit.

Here's a bit better picture of how the back window panel and tub come together.

It's just a term used to describe a ute back that has the same side profile as the front body and cab.

A styleside as opposed to a trayback or (in Land Rover terms) a HCPU body.

Not a great photo of what's been done but this car was once a 110 wagon:

Yes, I'm most of the way through. Installed a rear bulkhead from a 130, although a series bulkhead would do. I started with a series two rear window, then picked up a 110 window. The roof is a cut down 110, with a dual cab rear edge ( from a rolled 130). So far has cost me about $200.
I love the dual cab, much more usable, with much better acces to load the rear.

I have a swb rear tilt ( canvas) on rear hood stick and front roll bar behind the cab.

My County started out life as a 110 wagon ... was converted by the previous owner to what you see below - did a very good job too - the engineers were impressed.

Thanks Mate, Some very good ideas! I though it may have been possible, I will start hunting down a rear bulkhead to start with!
