It appears to be a brand new luxury camper conversion by SLR caravans - on a defender. Not quite visible in the photo is the company logo. I wonder how much body rigidity is lost with a pop top?

From what I have read the way mulgo/ Daniel does it , it comes out stiffer!

The roof structure is reinforced where the center section is cut out, so I don't think there is too much rigidity lost.

You'll forgive me for thinking that it was a new vehicle - up close it was immaculate ( even in the rain). And, for whatever reason there were no number plates.
