    Twin Rear Shocks On A 90

    I bought a terrafirma duel shock kit for my Puma some months ago but due to air bag fitting and many changes to the Puma I decided against fitting them. I thought I may as well fit them to the 90 as at times I tow the boat and carry a reasonable load. I used the terrafirma sport+2 shocks that were on the 90 and the ones I removed from the Puma (tight ass). The ride is like a go-kart. As it's my wife's daily drive I am looking for a set of shock absorbers that will suit this set up and give the added 2 inch travel and not ride so badly that it damages your neck muscles on any ripple in the road. Any suggestions as to what shocks to use would be great as S.H.M.B.O. is not happy with my changes to her vehicle.

    I have just bought a twin shock kit for the rear of my county,I have air suspension and already had pro sport +2 fitted so I got another set of them to use as duels
    I am hoping that the valving in the pro sports will give a good ride.
    What was you reason for not fitting the kit to your puma? I hope i have picked the right shockers'

    I put the Puma back to standard springs and fitted air bags because of the load/boat I pull going north. The ride from the twin pro sports on the 90 are go-cart like. I think valving is wrong on this application.

    what are the advantages? for the price of the shock mount and 2 average shocks, Id think you could be one decent shock that would out do the double set up....

    I agree, there isn't a lot of weight or overhang in the rear of a 90 and duals are a bit of overkill. I would also have pursuited a single quality shock monotube or remote canister which has been specced up to what you wanted if it's working that hard.
