Thanks Tristan, I only asked as I haven't been able to get a definitive answer out of anyone as to what the best shocks are for airbags. (The search continues I guess :) ).

Thanks heaps for the info. A few questions:
How much travel do you get from the rears? Will they lower to as far to allow the body to sit on the bump-stops? Do you think it would be possible to deflate them, add weight to a 130 tray, then inflate them back to running height?
Any pics?! :rulez: :)
Hey, Ranga
Yep, drop it to the bump stops, load it up, press one button and it will rise to a preset level. No more saggy bum!
I'll see what I can do about pic's. Need to take some, then I'll work out how to post them.
Even better, Cal415 might post some pics of his 130;)
Cheers, Tristan
Thanks - definitely looks like a better option than my current springs with inner bags with my jack-off canopy.
Any idea how much each bellow costs? Also, how much do you reckon it would lower a tray from standard height down to the bump stops?
Mine is e level with hand controller, there is a build thread on here, just sent the ecu to Glenn today, he is fantastic to deal with.
I'm guessing it may of failed due to battery abuse, jump starts, run flat etc, time will tell
I think I'll just buy a spare ecu, but to be honest, the car is rarely used now it's just a farm ute
Hi,
Glen is very good, not often you get such solid service in the automotive industry. I hope you get to the bottom of that ecu failure, I like to think mine will be fine.
As for travel, I'm using std shocks and must get about 6-7" between bump stops and max height. Cost for the rear bag kit is about $1375RRP, if you already have an on board compressor you might just buy the manual gauge and valve kit. Not sure on price, call Airide. Glen will sell both items at a better price.
Cheers, Tristan
Hey,
Quick update, found an engineer that will certify the kit in QLD, PM for details. Other states I understand are fine.
