    Fan Belt Alley - 85 County V8

I need some help please. I want to change all the fan belts before I travel but when I look I see no less than 4 and its a bit unclear how to relax tension so they can be changed. I don't just want to carry spares (which may or may not be right), and face the problems when one lets go.

Belt 1. Rad fan to the A/C compressor. I want to take it out cause the A/C doesnt work. No obvious tension release point

Belt 2. Alternator to Power steering. Easy...just release the alternator

Belt 3. Power steering pump to crank pulley. No idea .

Belt 4. Crank Pully to radiator fan. No idea.

    All suggestions greatfully received.

Tensioner pulleys have a pinch bolt clamping them onto the point where the tensioners swivel to change tension. Usually they are 1/2" spanner size.

This is for the 87 to 06 period and from the carb engine

Looks like there is a need to ease off on the alternator and a/c at least.

Thanks guys, but I am still in the dark as to what bolt located where,
I loosen to get some slack. BTW those diagrams are exactly what I have.

You could say "Search and ye shall find", but if someone knows the answer it would save me a bit of time.
