    falling apart seats

    Hey all,

my seat bases on my 98 110 tray back are falling apart. The back rests are fine. What are the options for getting them fixed up. Needing new foam and viynal covers.

Is it best to buy a whole new seat base or a trim kit? Can local auto trimmers do them from scratch?

    options please?

I recently did mine. I bought the foam from the uk and re-used the vinyl but you can buy a full re-trim kit if you need it. It is pretty simple to do yourself.

Just had the seats done on our 130 trayback. Both bases rebuilt with extra foam, one cover totally re made, the other and backs OK. All up $200 from my local auto trimmer.

Do a search for Exmoor (sp?) in the UK. They specialise in LR seats & things like that.

Yep, Exmoor Trim will provide all you need. It's not difficult to retrim a seat yourself.
