As my number plate is CEU I tend to call my D90 "Jimmy" - as in the Scottish "See you Jimmy"!

The Series 3 is Smeg (from Red Dwarf) and the series 2a is "Ralph"
(because I wasnt allowed to call him "Montegue P Farnsworth" or Monty)
The wife Vitara is called "The Delta Flyer" and the young bloke jap box is called "Starbug 1".
