You don't often see them for sale, LR Australia couldn't even conform how many were 'made'.

Some of the Tanami parts are missing and it looks scruffy inside, seats need some work.
I've seen green ones (and red) so not sure that it's the only green one.
Suspension was STD, not sure what is meant by dual water filters ?
414,000km but motor rebuilt.
Panels have a few battle scars.

When I see them for sale at this price (I wonder if he'll get $12K) it makes me wonder what mine could be worth. Decals missing but otherwise close to mint condition, no rust, 140,000km........?? Not that I'm thinking of selling......

No connection with the seller etc.

I've never seen the car although from the description of the location, I should have. It must be within five minutes drive from me.

If I wasn't building a new house, I'd be risking the wrath of SWMBO by picking it up.... :D

If you had the room, all you need is a mid 90's Defender & some decals and you can have one........

Add Perentie tool holders, a roofrack, cargo barrier, insect screen (Fred Smith was getting them re-made) and nobody would know it wasn't 'original'.

Not quite as rare as the EBay seller claims (unless it was him).

Thanks, this article was posted earlier in this thread.

LR had little info and this article and the same article as an editorial in 4X4 Australia are the only info we have at the moment.
Someone somewhere must have a brochure........

It's been relisted a couple of times now. I saw it tonight filling up in Bacchus Marsh. Other than a dented guard it looked good.
