Difference between Perentie and standard Defender?

about the only thing left on that POS thats landrover is the firewall and radiator panel and doors...

and even then they're modified.

Bit off topic, but...
If RFSV;
POS sorta ROPS with 2 extra spare wheels mounted on either side, inboard of the cage (that actually save you in the event of a rollover!) With enough space between the wheels for the field-expedient XTRA long range fuel tank (AKA 200L drum)
Longitudanal roof racks for carrying a tinnie (no, really)
Higher rear roofline to allow for the extra height of the rear pax
Centre console F88 mounts X2
Spotties
Brush bars
Front bar Hilift rack and Highlift
Belt driven compressor with over-rev dis connect and 5m air hose
Single Rear facing rear seat and seat rails
2X Large removeable Side rear storage bins
2 X batteries in Pax side front storage locker
Waterproof slide out box in Drvr side front locker
Extensive tool kit in addition to normal CES (include tyre patching kit)
2X Double rear jerry carriers
Rear diff blackout light
PTO Winch
Heavy duty front axle with 4pinnion diff carrier
Most obvious；HiMiler Custom Xtra grips on split rims
Think thats about it.

You forgot the heavy duty front axle with 4 pinion carrier Dave!

..............and I understand that the body is actually a few inches wider to accommodate 3 grunts and clobber across the front.

6x6 Perenties only - 4x4s are normal size

There is an article in the current Land Rover Owners International mag on the Ozi Perentie covering both the 6x6 and 4x4 models incl its genesis and military service.

They only have 215mm of ground clearance under the diff right? Doesn't sound that high:confused:

I read somewhere that they sat an inch taller then a normal defender. Not sure where I read that from, but next time my Land Rover buddy comes over I can measure it.

Diff clearance isn't suspension height, its Tyre height.
