How about an early Perentie style bar? Similar water pipe look but may be better suited to local conditions (think Bush Tucker Man)?

Ok there is nothing stopping us designing it a bit different and more stronger.
I'll run this past everyone interested in this style bar.
What if we get Murray to designs a tube style bumper I'm thinking twin tube for strength then weld some flat bar across the front to hide the tube design give it that OEM bumper look, then incorporate the Camel Style bar work, I'm sure it can now be modified for strength. It can be welded and reinforced where it joins at chassis mounts and the loop section around the lights could have a section welded from under the loop to the tube bumper for strength.
Then on order you can customise whether you want bush wire light mounts etc.
Obviously we are getting away from what was originally presented, but you would agree it is more beneficial with a stronger style bar for animal strikes, so expect the price to be higher.
Look at it this way it would be cheaper than an ARB bar probably just as strong, more authentic looking, and I'm assuming lighter.
To me a Defender is most recognisable/classical from its front and rear ends, I think the ARB style really take that away.
Any other suggestions on design are welcomed.

Side rails would make it a lot stronger, back to sliders. I use my sliders far more often than my bullbar!
Bush Tucker Man, what like these ones? 110 Perentie -REMLR
Worth all so noting this type of bar was used By the UK MOD, and a number of other Users of Land Rover. Theres a LR part number for it too. Very simalr to the Camel one.

Sorry to bring up an old thing. I just bent my factory bar. Looked around but don't really like much else apart from this camel trophy look.
Are these still or can they be made?
Thanks.
I never ended up designing this type of bar, instead I went this way Rijidij Tube Bar , but I'm sure you could get this style bar through one of the other suppliers on here.
Cheers, Murray
This is my Camel, would I drive after dark in the outback...? Not a chance as its not strong enough for animal strikes, with side/scrub bars for extra strength maybe, but from factory it would just fold back onto the grill etc... the bottom section is very strong obviously to hold the winch cradle, the top bars are not and are only held on by 4 bolts.
