I got a 70watt hid conversion off fleabay for my Lightforce Genesis - a reasonably expensive kit from memory but the seller had great feedback.
Has proven to be money well spent - given the lights an enormous boost in output and (as the kit came with a range of adjustment shims) the beam pattern is unaffected too. Had a flogging over corrugations, mud, rivers, etc no dramas.
My advice is too look for a kit with good rep and you should be happy.
I've got some of the same coming for my D2 off ebay, but one spread beam, one spot. Should come this week hopefully.
Recently put a 70W pair of these lights on my 130. Cost was $170 delivered ex ebay. At this price it isn't a major issue when a rock or a roo goes thru' them.
The notched angle adjustment suited the angle of the bar so no problems there.
Not sure how long they will last but so far no problems and much better light than halogen.

We are talking headlights here and not spotlights aren't we?
If so and please correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't they illegal to fit after market if you cannot get them as an oem option?

We are discussing Driving lights not headlights and yes HID headlight upgrade is not legal unless. Your car has self leveling mechanism and I think also should have washers. That's what I found out.Quote:

$120, bought Sunday arrived today. Haven't wired them up (only came in post today and bolted on during lunch), but I see what you mean about not a huge amount of adjustment as teeth should be finer. One flood one spot.
