Bruce Davis Performance tunes are the go for Pumas. They are based on the Alive tunes, but are modified for Australian conditions. You can get a console from Bruce which allows for the original map to be put back if required (takes a matter of minutes). Then the remap can be reinstalled the same way.....
Mine (for 2.4) was about $900.00 with the console.
Unfortunately the 2.2 is a different beast. The ATRIC does not work on this version of the ECU at the moment, but, apparently work is ongoing.:)Quote:

IMHO, that would make it a lot more pleasurable when towing the camper, overtaking manoeuvres, etc. etc etc.
BTW, he was adamant that the 2.2 is a LandRover motor and NOT a Puma as Puma is a Ford design and the 2.2 is not a Ford.

Bell auto will give same figures for both 2.4 and 2.2 however ecu must be sent over to them which is the only thing stopping me getting one....FWIW the 2.2 feels like it goes better than the 2.4 but that is not represented on paper...Quote:
