I should add that the fit of the Patriot (Landybitz, Juddy) checkerplate is excellent. No i'm not on a backhander.

I stand on mine all the time, particularly to access the roofrack and things high up in the garage roof space. Kids climb all over the car (and I let em), they love it.

I had mine fitted this morning. Bought from Juddy at LandyBitz

So far very happy. They support my weight and getting to the roof rack is much easier now.
Look to be very good quality.

I stand on my wingtops all the time to get to the roof rack, also used for tools, recovery gear and anything else that requires a firm surface. Havent regretted getting them for a minute.

I have the powder coat and its held up well, about 2.5 years old now.

Sounds like the landy bits chequer plates are the ones to get. Can anyone recommend an installer in or near Melbourne who would be able to install these?

Don't really want to use the dealership at the rates they charge.
