just throwing my 2c in the mix.
I have no experience with the racks mentioned as they are well out of my price range.
i was able to get a tigerz11 rack (steel and around 22kgs) it was $349 and have 4 legs to it, sits about 70mm of the roof (to the top of the rack)

while the quality isnt that of those mentioned its there along side arb/ironman and it is steel not alloy, it is however silent, strong and dirt cheap. . .

    Juddy,
Are these distances from bottom of leg (in gutter) to top of rack (not including the luggage rail? They certainly aren't from top of roof to top of rack as requested.

From memory, Patriot has approx 40mm from top of roof (at highest point) to underside of rack and then a 50 channel for a rack deck giving a total of 90mm from top of car to top of rack.

Thanks Leroy, thats a nice light steel rack at 22 kgs.

Yorkshire Jon, yes the measurement Juddy gave was from the top of the gutter to the top of the platform (no rails). So the Patriot is 90mm top of roof to top of platform (no rails).

Looking awesome! Think the Hannibal's are going on our shopping list for later in the year.

looking excellent. Nothing too in your face, perfect. Like the rims too.

And suits the 90 better without the top rail....

Thanks guys, yep I reckon it looks pretty good too, but I'm biased. And about 30mm spare to get in through the garage door

    You've got mail Juddy.

Started researching roof racks in anger this weekend and had a quick question for you Cracka, Juddy or other Hannibal owners...

Would you be able to measure how far the Hannibal ladder extends down and outwards on the back of the 90? Reason I ask is we just fitted a Rijidij spare wheel/jerry can holder (awesome bit of kit btw and some pics here, thanks Murray!) and I'm interested in how much clearance we need for the ladder once the jerries are loaded. Looks like there's plenty of room but thought I better check.

    Cheers.

I'll measure tonight, but I don't think it'll work once your jerries are in place.

    G'day Lagerfan.

From the top edge of the gutter to the bottom of the ladder stile is 704 mm.

From the body to the outside of the stile is 116 mm.

From the body to the outside of the rung (it protrudes a little further) is 123 mm.

    Hope that helps.
