The easiest way is to buy a roof bar and attach it on that.

Hi Guys,
I run a 40" unit from China on the roof rack. It produces 200w @ 21600 Lms. Daylight for 300m. Light to maybe 500m?? I have 2 x 9" halogen 100w spots on the bull bar, cannot see if they are on or off. I am going to fit another set of HID 55w 9" spot to replace the halogen's. The light from the LED bars is perfectly white. As someone mentioned, you can see which way the roo is going to move before it does. They are that good that you can almost see far enough ahead to see Saturday nights Lotto numbers ;)
Reflection is one of the biggest problems, not just from your bonnet or bullbar, the road signs can be blinding.
The dissadvantage with mounting like that is reflection from your bonnet and bull bar. The glare will drive you mad - not worth it IMHO.
By mounting them further back, you can set them up so the shadow from the front edge of the roof stops/minimises the glare from the bonnet and bar - much betterer ;)
Well, a roof bar will do the job just fine, you can set it behind the sunroof. I think this is the easiest solution.
I am picking up my new 110 in 10 days and will not spend $2k yet on roof rack but will pick up a roof bar so I can mount the LED bar as a temp solution.

I have mine a fair way forward and I dont find the glare from the bonnet to be too bad although now it has been mentioned I probably will :angrylock:
yes, like that. Maybe I'll move it a bit further back? just before the sunroof or something
Chook, that's a neat bar, whats its called & where did you get it.
also how does it attach ???
I generally don't like roof bars, but that one actually looks good.
Chook has a roof width LED bar on his roof rack AFAIK.
Looks quite similar to the one JohnR has, perhaps he knows?
EDIT.
Don, it looks almost the same as this on here ;)
