Actually quite surprised the signs didn't worry me at all, less than the normal driving light combo, but also aware the bar is probably aimed a tad low at the moment.

Yes - delivered within 3 days. I also bought a couple of 15w lights ($65 for the pair) to use as reversing lights. Saw exactly the same lights in Autobarn over the weekend advertised at $89.95 ea

I have put on a 20", 120W and would be very happy with it - if it did't mess with my FM reception It will probaly get better when I run the earth lead back to the battery.
I also have upgraded loom and bulbs + lightforce 240 spotties. The bar makes a big differnece.
Mine run 3W CREE leds, I see these are now old. Latest is 10W CREE leds.
If a cheap light bar fails after a while its not the end of the world; If a winch fails when you need it, it might be the end.
Single row LED light bars with 10watt CREE LED chip (BCS-series):

Must admit that could be a problem, there is a fair bit of noise through the radio. I have the earth back to the battery, so that's unlikely to cure the noise. Will have to try some other suppression, but I suspect it will be RFI from the electronics in the light itself rather than feeding back through the power.

    Noise (RF) is a concern!

    Couldn't handle that...

I dont get any RF Interference at all AM or FM or UHF CB with my LED Light Bar , LED Headlights or any other stuff on my Td5 110, tho I do have very good earthing, everywhere , (almost like a farady cage)

I've heard that Td5 electronics play havoc with HF radios, (RFDS etc) but I have a wideband RFI detector (radiodetection locator) and it didnt register anything when inside

so I'd suggest look at extra earthing, esp btwn body & chassis, multiple locations.
you might think that the fact that the body is bolted to the chassis it would be a good earth. if youve ever pulled apart a Landrover you would have noticed the white residue that forms btwn the metal parts, thats aluminium oxide, (caused by electrolysis and exaccerbated if you ever been near salt water) and its a very good electrical insulator and is the root cause of many LR electrical faults

Pretty much guaratee the RF noise is from the HID Ballist, not the LED.

    Happy Days.
