there is an issue with the front drive member but...... theres an issue either with the transfer case or according to mec whos a bit befuddled by it all is thinking clutch although i cant see how a clutch issue would let you rotate the front driveshaft with both wheels on the ground.
my logic says that its a shaft pluss somthing in transfer case , ive never had a clutch issue with no warning and then theve stuck on not stuck unengaged.
im praying its stuck in neutral and has a flogged out drive flange ,broken shaft or buggered diff center. Anyhow pulled spare cv's shafts and diff center .Unfortunatly i didnt think to take the handbreak off before trying to turn the rear prop shaft.
still cant comprehend how a clutch can stick unengaged or disintegrate with no warning when the car has been on the tar only scince they replaced the gear box
