I took mine back many many many mannnny times to get the leaks sorted.
My 08 110 had leaks through all five doors, the roof, the windscreen, the aircon, the dash, the join between the upper and lower rear body sections, and one hinge to top it off.
They can get them sorted if they give a stuff, but therein lies the challenge.
If you get offroad and start twisting the body a fair bit you might find the seam on the roof will open up, even if it's been 'sorted' several times. I've covered the seam with a new 3M product called 'Extreme Sealing Tape'; so far its holding up better than anything LR tried.

I just took delivery of a MY13 Defender three weeks ago! I have been very pleased, and especially in two areas, one, it seems to be completly dust proof, and two, it does not leak!
I am in Tamworth however, and it really does not rain here!
Not in that Melbourne way anyway!
My dealer had one return this year with a grommet missing somewhere? and also the windscreen brackets (ones on the outside front) were leaking, comming through the bolt heads. Open your front doors and you might see a tell tale sign!

Leaks from precipitation are very annoying :mad::mad::mad:, but allowing the interior to fill up during a deep river crossing is very important in my opinion. Floating is not a desired result!!!
I have known people to open their doors when crossing causeways for this reason, and I saw a caravan deliberately filled with flood waters by opening the door to avoid being washed away once. It saved their lives, as they spent the night on the roof of the van until the floodwaters receded about dawn the next day.
