The original one displayed the same symptoms, so not holding thumbs with this one either.
LandyOnline have said the part carries a 1-yr warranty and they will replace it if it is faulty.

Mools, I just came back from the installer.
We removed the sender, re-crimped everything, checked the earth and then ran another earth directly to the sender itself.
This did not solve the issue, still getting weird readings.
We phoned LandyOnline, and they said while it's unlikely that a 2-month old send would fail again, we should check the connection harness and the actual connections on the back of the EMS unit.
So I'm going to have to take it back to the installer once they get a new harness and sender, just in case either or both needs replacing.
