Is there a tray mounting guide like the one on the first page for a 110?

I have posted the complete guide, which covers 110, 130 single cab, and 130 dual cab Defenders. It is in the "Files" section (click on Files at top right of all forum pages), under the category "Technical Manuals".

Some pictures due to a request. Included is the start of a canopy that fits the tray and mirrors the head board.

This is an old post of mine, but if your building a tray on a 130 single cab, don't do what my body builders did, throw the factory mounts away and fabricate new ones...I had three 130s that need the trays pulled off and repaired for cracked mounts...hope the photos are linked on this??

I ended up bending up some 5mm plate, sleeving the original mounts internally and dropping the reinforcement down further on the chassis for better support. Then used 8mm high tensile bolts to secure the supports to the chassis, welded the supports on the outside of the chassis(not linking the welds to avoid cracking the chassis) and then fitted the folded 5mm top section to the mounts to ensure sideways movement is limited, rubber blocked the tray and lifted it back on.
Its much quiter and looking at the tray movement behind the rear window whilst on rough dirt roads, its definately stiffened things up...time will tell when im fully loaded and lifting wheels if its worked or not!

Yeah those factory mounts are pretty special...

SItec is a very helpful guy as I asked a very similar question recently ! No doubt he could just send the same info to you.

brandanm I love the canopy !
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

Hi sorry for wakening this old thread.
Is the manual you posted "Defender Cab Chassis Conversion Manual"?

    Thanks
