I suspect most people here do exactly that, but ***** still happens. As there's no such thing as "too prepared" in my book .. a $17 roll of rescue tape in the back of the truck seems like plain ol' common sense for any puma owners right now IMO.

It's not a puma problem, it's poor quality control.
You'd think the dealers would pass the info onto the manufacturing plants and get the bl***y clamps positioned right.
It's a no brainer and would avoid a lot of angst.
But then what would I know?
