Mulgo seat extension rails

Sorry for the late reply, Real easy to fit, makes a hell of a difference and would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of getting a set. Just fitted the "Aldi" mobile camera today ($80.00), It records for 20 minutes at a time in colour and for 3 hrs on a fully charged battery, night mode has 4 LED lights to illuminate your drive but records in black n white, you can stop and start it manually or set the motion sensor to record when it detect movement. As it runs a Micro SD card, you can also watch what you record on your iPhone before you upload it to a computer. Going 4wding this weekend to "The Springs" so I'll try to remember to post a link to a video or 2 on Monday.

Thanks Hannah,I'll check it out. I usually use the handbrake (no not the wife)as a footrest whilst driving long distances and with the seat rails in it's better than ever.

I have noticed some seat ext sets, also raise the height of the seat, is this the case with this type?

I would imagine all seat extension kits will lift/ raise the seating position. I have the mulga ones and in order for the set to slide further back it must be raised above the lip behind the the rails. The raise at first may feel strange but certainly does make a difference in knee and leg geometry I guess. Add the hand brake kicker and the cockpit feels a lot more spacious. I'm 6ft and the only thing to consider maybe for taller drivers is that the higher you go the more you have to duck down to look out the drivers window for oncoming traffic etc. however gives a better view at the nose.

Hi Juddy,

Yes all seat rails need at least 25mm odd lift on the back bolt location to clear the bulkhead lip (or where it used to be) as Hannah110 said. The whole works is however tilted towards the back and the further you slide back the lower the lift...
