I remember seeing a zebra striped Series III for sale in the UK years ago. I had to laugh when the vendor noted in the advert that it answered to the name of 'spot' (maybe it's just my sense of humour).

Doesn't really work outside Africa... And even there you would raise frowns if you are not employed on a game farm or a national park.

I've seen some very creative vinyl wraps on Defender though. A while back there was one for sale done up in a digital desert camo wrap that was pretty impressive and the wraps are removable when the novelty wears off.

Here is one I found in York WA with faux Zebra fur, either that or this 107" Series 1 had a run in with a real Zebra:o

Some people like the late 90s stripes so much that they put them on 2008 model. I like it.

I've always thought of having zebra stripes only on the sides, fading out when they get almost window height.
