    Yep, lovely car. Crazy money, although the LWB series do seem to be pulling some big bucks in the states.

    I saw a red Defender the other day and I thought that looked pretty flash. Maybe my tastes are a bit simpler than some!

    Looks like the one I saw in a panel shop at Southport a few years ago when I was doing up a 69 HK Brougham. The guy at the panel shop had it at his shop and restored it for a yank who was going to tour Australia when he retired, but had a stroke and asked the restorer to sell it for him. He ended up selling it to some guy in Canada and got $35k USD for it. Beautiful car.
