Arb roo bar

I was with that Red 110CC in the ARB catalogue today. It looks awesome in the flesh.:D
I think your right about the approach angle Justin, approach should be less than departure. Cant say how many times I've seen cars of all makes/models, clear the front fine, only then to smack out the rear and do damage. And yeah the usual, I know, "get a rear bar",, but why though, so you can just bash it harder?

As an aside, if you want a Warn winch on your ARB bar, you'll need to cut away part of the grill to fit it. Due to this, I opted for the TJM bar, with their own brand winch. I'm not sure how you go fitting up a Warn winch to the TJM bar though.

I didn't have to cut my grill for my my winch

I'm in the market for a new steel bar soon, and ARB was the "default" option, so I would be interested to hear how much approach angle do you lose with the current deluxe bar?

I fitted a Warn 9.5XP winch to the newer style Puma bar. Although the installation kit said to cut the bottom section of the grill and fit a support plate above, I found no need to do this for this winch as there was plenty of room to fit the winch with clearance between the tie rods and the bottom of the grill. Worked fine without cutting the grill so fit first before chopping the grill! Given that the bar and the body hardly move relative to each other as the body is bolted to the chassis, movement was not an issue either.

Figures,,, I may have found that out if I had gone that way, but the job was to be done by them, so no doubt they'd have just done the chop as a procedure anyway.
As it turned out, funds were tighter than the proverbial, so I ended up with the TJM, and fitted it up myself later on, when I had time.
