which cargo barrier for 110 Defender?

I too will vouch for the Mford as being a quality item. I can remove it from my 110 in under 5 minutes - by myself, so nae drama if you need space for longer loads. Fits in 2 positions, too.

Think I will go with Milford quick removal will be a bonus, did you self install heard it's better to let someone with experience install them

Bought it from ARB Westside......fitted by ARB Westside. Quality install, done properly, and from then on it, all you need to do to take it out or replace is do up or remove 4 large plastic nuts.....these are quality, rated items and as mentioned above somewhere, will also afford some protection from roof collapse in any roll. I have mine in the forward position, right behind the front seats, so mine doubles as a de-facto roll bar.

Ours had a Milford fitted when we bought it... but there are two positions for it? Our was basically up against the back of the passenger seats - where else does it go?

As I mention above, it can go right behind the rear seats folded up, effectively behind the front seats. These barriers come with the brackets for the front mounting, and simply require the two forward floor mounting holes drilled too when the instillation is done.

Having the barrier in the front position gives me plenty of rear cargo space, but it does turn the vehicle effectively into a 2 seater.....but that is OK for me....just myself and Kat. But if I need to use the rear seats, the barrier is out in under 5 minutes.

Yep, Milford is good gear. Can't comment on the defer, as mine is yet to arrive on our shores, but I did have one in an 80-series cruiser I owned. Very strong and versatile as mentioned in the post above.

    Cheers

I have the disco one that I've used in my wife's honda pilot, two of my old discos, and now my 110 (though I'm still working on better lashing points).

You might want to try bargaining them down. I had an autosafe installed in Melbourne for around the 500 mark Jan last year at opp lock.
