I'll second Milford quality and price. I bought the Milford as when I was posted to Puckapunyal an American exchange soldier bought a Defender and flipped it onto its roof dodging a large roo while approaching the front gate. He had his wife and child in the car at the time. The roof just clasped like a coke can. It was flat from the tip (almost) of the bonnet to the top of the Milford behind the rear seats. Adults suffered minor cuts & bruises while the child was completely unharmed still strapped into the child seat.
The car was written off. But if it wasn't for the Milford it would have been much worse, if not fatal.
So when I got mine I fitted a Milford too. But agree your price is way to much. I paid $500 for mine. Fitting takes about 2 hours as you have to remove and drill trim. But in fairness if you can't or don't feel comfortable fitting yourself than $250 is about right.
Cheers
Nino.
