ARB BULL BAR QUERY FOR 110

Ive got a 2013 110 and I have been looking on Gumtree for an ARB bull bar (2nd hand). There are a few that come up and they are from 110's earlier models eg. 2001, 02 etc.

Does the new model (eg mine) have the same mounting points for the bull bar and therefore allow me to purchase one from an older model Defender?

Just make sure that you get a longer mount version that clears the grill

When you say a 'longer mount version', is that a separate piece to the actual bull bar?

No.. All one piece, just make sure it came off a Def with the forward mounted grill

It needs to be one that suits what's known as the air conditioning grill which sticks out further than the non A/C grills.

When I brought my first ARB bar , It was for a County that had the extended aircon grill . It wouldn't fit as It couldn't go back far enough , not by much ,but as I say enough to stop It . So a bit of measuring , a bit of marking , out with the small angle grinder , two small bits cut at the back , and on It went no problems at all , put some black paint on the cut area , It is still going strong to this day . cheers Jim..

From what year roughly did the forward grill come into play? Also for a 1/2 decent bull bar with not too many scratches, what is a reasonable price? I was looking around the $350 $400 mark.

Early county and post 2003 should cover it.

A good 2nd hand unit goes around $500-$800
