I fronted the shop this morning and spoke to the owner as I felt bad for having refered Benz to them.
The owner said it was acceptable....enough said! I have already relayed the story to numerous other local business owners this morning. I think it is only fair that others understand what this business believes is acceptable.

that sort of work seems about on par with most exhaust shops.... welding quality is another one they seem to lack

My local exhaust place does very good bends. They made up a number of snorkels for a local LR mechanic based on my snorkel.
