Is that ruling applicable to Victoria? I've read (somewhere) recently what I think was a Vic Roads document reinforcing the old paired lights ruling and stating a 12 month moratorium on single bars was commenced in Feb this year. :confused: Of course I can't find it again now I want to. :(

Just checked VicRoads site and there is a section under drving lights but no mention of where and how you install them

I tried there too, but Vic Roads site was not very helpful, half the links didn't work anyway.

Here's the document I was referring to, it's a Qld document not Victorian but I would have thought ADR's are for the whole country though the states might implement them a little differently.

The original article I read (somewhere) stated that the blanking strip allowed in Qld was not allowed in Victoria.

I have a friend that works at TJM and told me it is for QLD but he suspects it may flow down to Vic

Guys does anyone know what the amp rating is on the current defenders alternator ? Mine is 2013. Just need to make sure it can handle the new lights given the bars are 120-180w and including my current halogen driving lights at 100w
