Roof rack recommendations for a 110

It sounds like you only need a set of roof bars, if you're only going to put the racing ski up there. Can't help you there, but if you're looking for an actual roof rack, I'll recommend the Dolium Wind Cheetah/Front Runner as well. Light and strong enough to get up and walk around on.

Hannibal 2.8m has served me well. Its 2.06m (from memory) from floor to top surface with side rails detached.

If your defender is coming September i would order a rack now - the Hannibal comes from south africa and took 16 weeks to come. I got mine from Landybitz.
