I would love to see the before/after Si and wear metals in a series of oil analysis with that.

Apart from installing a "performance" filter, the other thing that people should never ever ever do is take the filter out for a look, give it a whack on the wheel to knock some of the dust out, and then stick it back in! You'll do more damage than good and end up with dust on the 'clean side' and risk tearing the filter media.Quote:
