I like the tyres thus far - only road use to date , planning on a day trip to Vic high country very shortly to test their grip.

Not noisy ,but my Deefer is a noisy bugger anyway , so no issue if they get noisier with wear. I like the look of them and they feel softer and more comfortable than my old GG 235/85. Which had done 120,000kms ! Very good longevity , but not great in the wet , and I wanted something a little wider and more aggressive.

$360 each in Hawthorn Goodyear tyre centre.

Standard driveline,
No lift.
255/85/R16 BFG KM2's (33" equivalent)
0 offset king steelies.
Went hard, on fitting 0 offset in place of the standard steelies my turning circle improved and I had no scrub on the forward control arm, which I experienced with smaller 31" Cooper ST's that used to be on it on standard rims. Fuel consumption unchanged, speedo read correct against GPS, so go figure.

Now my new td5 130.
2" lift fitted by PO so not too sure really.
Same tyres. Got a long travel suspension kit in it, fitted by me. These are the same tyres as in the previous photo, so they did about 10-15,000 k's on the old Deefer, went through a crash (where the old one got written off) then on the 130 and got about 20-30,000 more on them.
Wearing well, though they did get some chipping when I did gregory national park, but I don't think you could find any place in Australia harder on tyres, to be frank.
