Autostrada is the brand it is sold under in Australia.
The unit is actually an 'e-Cruise' manufactured by Lindgaard Pedersen in Denmark. Probably half of the different cruise controls you see on the market are manufactured by them. Very reputable.
I bought it online through United Fuel Injection in Perth. Best price I could find.

I have one, a good unit
For a while now I've thinking of ways to filter the cabin air. Its as much to do with preventing the aircon evaporator and heater fins from blocking up as it is to do with breathing cleaner air.
This one is to filter the recycled air inside the cabin. I haven't worked out a good solution for the fresh air intake yet.
I bought a couple of activated carbon filters on ebay that are designed to fit BA Falcons. They are a copy of the Ryco RCA100C but a LOT cheaper, try $10 for two as opposed to $50 for one.

Originally I was going to use double sided tape to stick the filter over the return air vent. But then decided a better option would be to use some large cable ties as these would pull the filter tight against the vent.
I used some sticky foam weatherseal around the edge of the filter to make a good seal when the cable ties were pulled tight.

Using a knife, I poked two holes for each cable tie, one above and one below the centre spine of the filter.

The filter is surprisingly strong and ridgid, but for a bit more strength, I cut an old hacksaw blade to length and slid it in under the cable ties. This was all I could find at the time, but a piece of 1/8 rod or small flat bar would be better.

Tightened up the ties and made sure the foam on the back had a good seal all the way around. Done.

It knocks a bit of noise out of the fan too which is normally loud when on recycle.
It also cant be seen when sitting in the passenger's seat and it doesn't get in the way of your feet.

This is something I've been meaning to test for a few weeks now. My new Allisport intercooler which I bought at the same time as the BAS remap.
I only installed the intercooler a fortnight ago but I've been running the remap for several weeks now and monitoring the ECU info.
Long story short. With the standard intercooler, I was measuring post intercooler temperatures of up to 50 degrees c ABOVE ambient.
This is with maximum boost pressure (gauge, not absolute) up around 22psi.
Then I installed this sucker...

I've been driving around for the last couple of weeks with it in, but hadn't had a chance to hook up the BAS2 and monitor the temperatures...
Well blow me down!!...
Today, with the air temp around 24 degrees, around town, under throttle I measured intake temp post intercooler at...24 degrees. Looks good, I was impressed.
But how does it go at highway speeds?
Out past the edge of town I pushed it hard through the gears and couldn't get the post intercooler temps more than 6 degrees above ambient with maximum boost!
Switch on the aircon, full throttle, 6th gear, 110km/h. Couldn't get the post intercooler temps more than 10 degrees above ambient!
Back off the throttle, switch off aircon and cruise at 110km/h and post IC temps are back to ambient +6 degrees.
I also have a flywire screen behind the grill which would restrict airflow a bit.
Needles to say, the results have blown me away. I have gone from post IC temps of 50 degrees above ambient down to no more than 10 degrees above ambient.
In the long run this has got to be a positive influence on the engine and fuel economy.
The initial cost of the intercooler has almost been forgotten now!

Did you see the D44 Defender cabin filter, effective but daggy, the snow cowl could be a better starting point
The intercooler is worth every dollar in my opinion ;)
I've also installed a PEL 500110 thermostat which is giving me around 6 degree cooler running temps.
I can't stand the look of the snow cowl.
Im thinking someone with the skills and facilities needs to design a new air duct which actually secures to the fan housing and incorporates a sealed filter housing to accept a common and readily available filter like the one I have used.
