    Glovebox for puma

The missus wants some storage on her side

There's a few on eBay but not sure wich one to go with

    Any recommendations

Not quite what you're asking, but... I fitted the Nakatanenga glove box kit because I wanted to keep the factory handle and the shelf underneath. I'm very happy with the product:

I like the look of the mud stuff UK one. It seems to have a better/stronger hinge on it. Available on EBay through British off road for $160.

    Question

Beware of these items & do your homework, because some are better than others.
Some of the lids on these items do not fit too well,...they do not line up with the top of your original dashboard, so don't look too good.

Sounds like a pretty standard Defender "fitment" to me....!!

Don't they use the existing dash as the lid?

I have the Mud one (ordered direct from Mud) and am really happy with it (and is the better half).

I picked that one because of the design and it left the chicken bar untouched.

If you need I can grab a photo of it for you, but it matches what you see on their website.

+1. Good bit of gear. Mud are also very good at supporting their products. Not that much is likely to go wrong with a glovebox, but I did have problems with another of their products, and they replaced it with the later improved version, no quibbles no charge.

$5 black paint tray from Bunnings.
Does the job nicely, I just need to fit a hinge to mine. Not a biggie though, hasn't had one for as long as it's been in there now ;-)
