I've got the ARB deluxe bar fitted to the 130 and it's been bullet proof, I've hit roos, pigs and last week, a pretty solid fallow deer!! I've just fitted an APT steering guard which had no clearance issues with the bar..I've also ordered some TJM scrub bars to fit up to protect the sides and sills of the ute..I've got a TJM bar on one of the other utes and it too has been very solid over the last 10years..I think it comes down to what you like the look of.

Will do, the attachment points to the bar will need some fabrication, but I'm not sure to what extent.

"Do ARB still do the commercial winch bar? Their website only shows the two Deluxe models."

They did 2.1/2 years ago when I had it fitted Jeff, but I don't know if they still do.
If I'd realised then how thick the bars are I would have gone for the deluxe or the TJM but it does the job ....although as I've never hit a roo I think it does. So I won't change it.

before you hand over the folding stuff on the Opp Lock bar best see one in the flesh. They tilt away from the grill. You will like it or not.

Personally I think the ARB Deluxe looks the goods and they use a thicker gauge sheet steel than the TJM and ARB winch bar of old (i've had both TJM and ARB older style).

This is all great info. I had a look at an ARB today, yes looks great.

Only snag is it's apparently best to get the winch fitted at the time of bar fitting otherwise it has to come off again...

Mmmm, I can see I will need some diplomacy lessons for SWMBO!!!

Nope... They say the same about the D4 bars... I beg to differ - having done it

Ridjidij certainly makes good stuff, although its not cheap.
I went for a Mantec rear wheel carrier rather than the Ridjidij because it was $300 cheaper, but the Ridjidij was a good bit of gear.
The Expedition Centre also has good gear - an excellent website.
