Expensive service for a small Citroen & won't get the Heritage until Oct/Nov at the earliest - also price TBA! What have I done?

    Congratulations!!!!!

Thanks Tombie, I told them that you quoted the price at 49K - hope you are close to the mark as the dealer has no idea!

    I count
    D4
    90
    Citroen
    Heritage 90 or 110 ?

Makes it easier for me to justify, almost anything
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

    Congrats!!! Cool!

I am in the UK at the moment... and in the UK, they are circa ? 30K, which at todays exchange rate would be $ 55,700 AUD! Dealers in the UK have been instructed by LR that there will be NO discounts! So $49k AUD would be a bargain!

Great truck however... Mmmm, tempted here too, but they are selling out like hotcakes!!!

    Cheers, Pete :>)

    Question

UK Heritage Editions are said to be not built with Air Cond, nor is it available as an option.
I wonder if we will be in the same boat.
I personally, would not want ANY new vehicle without Air Cond in Aus, but I daresay that there would be a few Land Rover die-hards on here who would not hold that point of view.
We were cruising around on the Peninsula yesterday in a fairly "muggy", only around 30C, and the A.C. was really welcome.

It triggered a memory, back in May 20 2014, when i was waiting for mine to be built, & talking to the Dealer:

    Hi Andrew,

So far this is the only update bulletin on the Defender editions.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for the Heritage.

Please keep this brochure to yourself as discussed.

    Talk to you soon,

I got impatient and went for the Silver Pack, cant remember how i heard about the Heritage then

Hi Pickles, There is no mention of A/C in the brochure but the one photo I have of the dash looks identical to a standard Defender, other than the green panel.

Haven't missed A/C in the Series 1, that in the RR classic & TD5 Defender might as well not be there, just cools the knees.

Going Minus 30 or the Minus 30 EC (suited to 40-50c extreme duty)?
