My original wheels had Michelin XS type, I found them a very tough and long lasting tyre.
I'm looking got to replace them with a LT type, probably Michelin, but would be happy to have a recommendation for a substitute.
My reading on the forums suggests that Dunlop super gripper, Bridgestone 693 AT, or "super diggers", Olympic overlander etc might be substitutes, ( fitted on Toyota land cruisers i think)
Maybe the Michelin are still supplied on new defenders 130 and someone wants to get rid of a set.
I have a set of tubed 750-16 MT (Hankooks) for local trips where its expected to be muddy, and I use a set of tubeless 235/85 AT Pirelli scorpions for general offroad, beach and road work.
I want to stick with tube type for a desert trip so I can change the tubes and tires myself. thanks for your advice simmo
