Cleaning the underside of a Defender

Hi all. Just got back from a bush trip up NW of Adelaide with a very dirty/muddy Defender. Does anyone know where I can find a car cleaning place in Adelaide, with a ramp, so that I can clean the underside of the truck? Or, how does everyone clean the undersides of their vehicles?

Find some big puddles to drive through

If there is no rain then stick a sprinkler underneath and then wash all the mud out with a garden hose

Put a sprinkler on the lawn, drive over it and walk away. Then crack a beer.
Repeat 4 or more times until the desired level of 'clean' / 'no longer concerned' is achieved.

$6 at the car wash on high pressure soap to get the bulk then rinse. I then take it home and get the rest with the kartcha. After that wash the rest. There is a rail above the rear wheel arch that's a bit of a pain and dirt sits on it and behind the fuel filler. Muddy trip usually takes me a couple washes to get it backup to scratch.

By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

Absolutely. Although we got ours on Sale from Supercheap for $80.00

After years of laying under the vehicle to clean all the gaps etc this is a dream..

I use it to apply a cleaner, then change the bottle for Salt X and neutralise the salt, then rinse again...
