Hi Chris. Mine made that noise on Friday night going up a long steep hill in fifth. Only did it once. On Sunday morning I blew a hose (Intercooler to Manifold). Yours is a year younger than mine but have a close look at it, especially around the aria of the first bend. Take a Bicycle tire repair cit and some strong tape or as Tombie suggests some self amalgamating tape, which would be better. Just in case. Oh and a flat screw driver. The hose can be removed, repaired and replaced in fifteen minutes, I don't know if the noise and the hose were related or just a coincidence, but I think It's worth checking.
Cheers, Billy.
Keeping it simple is complicated.
Driving without a load even up hill its fine. It is a bit late for getting tape as I am leaving this morning but if I see anywhere on the way I will stop and get some. I will have a quick look under the bonnet before I leave and see if I can see anything, I am hoping it is just the viscous fan.
Cheers
Chris
Hi Chris. How did you go at the shoot?
Cheers, Billy.

I am not there yet, we are 450km from Brisbane so we will there this afternoon. Man it is cold it was 3 degrees in the caravan this morning, I am just warming up with my second cuppa. I was going to shoot the lead up but I would have been too tired so I will just concentrate on the main event on Monday and Tuesday which is the teams shoot. This is a National championship so it will not be easy, but we have a really good team. After that is the Queens which we will shoot too.
Brrrrrrrrr!!!!
Chris
Well take it easy, warm up and good luck, but I have to say,"Go the Blues."
Cheers, Billy.

Thanks guys. Arrived safe and sound the Defender was great apart the driver side rear mud flap sucking in on the tyre and chewing the flap up. I happened before and I am glad I have not put the new one on yet as now it is ruined. I will fit the new ones with chains when I go home. It is getting cold already but there is power so we will at least be warm tonight
Cheers
Chris
