The rear Internals are not a problem for the 130. No approval required

I will have a look at the list I think the 8 point was the one we were looking at type approving, This was going to be done last year on our 130 but I have now fitted the Quadtech, and this cage also fixes to the HCPU tub.

I have asked for a modification, if they can then this would suit our market better as we have more tray versions than HCPU.

Both Landybitz and SD are keen to get these cages approved and into the market place, and we are both happy to fund the approval if people are keen.

Listed are the cages that we would offer. Number 3 makes up 80% of all Cage sales.

    Hi Folks

I recently had a SD six point bolt-in external cage installed on 'Hector', a MY2012 110 ute. Am trying to find some pics on my computer but struggling (work overseas away from home).

The product certification (from pommie land I guess) is adhered to the cage. First, I checked out if the rig would be legal our local vehicle rego department - and of course it was, we live in the Territory!

Second, insurance. It just so happened that for a totally unconnected reason (to be able to buy back Hector if judged an uneconomic repair), I switched insurers at about the same time. I moved to Shannons. You pay top dollar, but an outstanding policy. And I want the peace of mind that Hector is insured for every eventuality. External cage no problem

    Cheers

    Alan

while i am very interested in the no 5, can it be used without the bracing to the HCPU? this would not work with my canopy, i would also need some mods to fit the interior section of the cage around my roof.

NT must be different to other states then, for type approval, I know QLD, and NSW would not approve without the approval process. when you say ute, is that a 110 single cab?
