Thread: Highway drive: Kuala Lumpur - Singapore - Kuala Lumpur

I look after the KL office. Regional office is in Singapore. I travel to Singapore for business meetings maybe 4-6 times a year. I prefer to drive whenever possible as the 4hrs on the hwy clears my head.

Drove to Singapore last Wednesday. First good hwy run since loading up the BAS 170hp Autobiography tune. Very sweet drive. Mostly at 130-140km/h. But couldn't resist running at 160km/h for 10-15 minute spurts. No drama. No fuss. The vehicle and the tune performed well. Such speeds do shatter fuel economy averages tho!

Coming back from Singapore I was cruising at 140km/h when the monster in the photo passed me!

The big merc was in a convoy, the Crown Prince of Johor on his way to watch his team play, with full police escort. Couldn't resist following close behind the sweeper... Riding on the coat tails of the convoys high speed escort. Sat on 160kmh for about 40min before they pulled over for a fuel stop. (Allowing me to get the photo)
