You know I contacted LR UK and Australia during this and I still haven't heard from anyone except for the original salesman and his mate who says he's new to the job. So I was developing the impression that I wouldn't benefit much from trying to seek any further justice through the organization.

Ive only ever bought 1 new vehicle,my D4 last year.Actually bought it over the phone.The team at Southern Land Rover were extermely proffesional and a pleasure to deal with.
JLR Aust do monitor AULRO,I hope they have a good read of this thread,mention it in your dealings with them to sort out compensation.

Glad to hear you had a good outcome despite being buggered around by Austral. I ordered a 110 with a few extras last weekend (22nd August) and haven't heard about any runout pack. I went through Lance Dixon in Doncaster, nothing but good reports from me so far about them, but I must say hearing how positive everyone is about Melbourne Land Rover makes me wonder if I should have gone there! Mine's coming in March 2016, I hope you are more patient than I am with the waiting game.

ULR are very good too. Owned by the same person.
So, when you ordered, and as it was only recently, were there any issues with respect to availability, & were there any restrictions with respect to what options/specs were available to you, at this late stage of production?
